Feeling Lucky?

If you want to increase your chances of success in endeavours that matter to you, luck undoubtedly plays a part. While luck is not something we can control, it is certainly something we can encourage. Here are two good reasons to make a connection and begin a conversation.

1. Writing helps you to get clear on what you want.

Putting your thoughts down in writing forces you to clearly understand and explain what you think you already know. As obvious as it may sound, start by getting clear on what you want. Then ask for it.

2. Be open to opportunities and connections.

It is a numbers game. The more people you are connected to, the more opportunities will come your way, and the more likely it is that you will know somebody who can help you.

I’ve spent over 20 years connecting to people, curating knowledge, and helping people find ways to solve their problems.

A good place to start a conversation with someone you don’t know is by telling them who you are and what you are working on.
